Following another thread made me realize that I failed to mention that Cygwin (Qt|xforms) compiled LyXes seem to work on both Win95/98; performance is very poor though. So there you have it: native Win95/98 support may be dead, while Cygwin emulation is a pain, but actually works. I'd like to get independent confirmation. Cheers! Luis.
