To learn more about the LyX installer for Windows, have a look at http://wiki.lyx.org/Windows/LyXWinInstaller Version 2.01 fixes the following bugs: - fix bug that MiKTeX's dvipng.exe was deleted - fix bug when LyX cannot produce DVI and Postscript output after an update of MiKTeX - fix bug that LyX's menus weren't localized - update to Imagemagick 6.2.7-2 - With the Imagemagick update it is now possible to use SVG-images directly in a LyX-document. (The output will look much better than before.) Due to the first two fixed bugs it is highly recommended to reinstall LyX using this installer version if you already have LyX installed using version 2.0 of LyXWinInstaller. If you aren't able to produce DVI or Postscript output after an update of the MiKTeX LaTeX distribution, reinstall LyX using this installer version or donwload the file "hyperref.cfg" from here: http://prdownload.berlios.de/lyxwininstall/hyperref.cfg These known problems remain: - All toolbar buttons are disabled after you opened a dialog; they are reactivated when you click in the text (see LyX's bug #2423) - LyX can't be installed when the computer system has a drive letter "J:\" (see LyX's bug #2471) best regards Uwe
