Dear Translators, I would like to start translating the LyX UI into Hebrew, but I ran into some problems. I tried to open the he.po file using a software called poEdit (I am running Windows XP) but I get an error that says "Failed to convert file contents to Unicode".
Since I have no previous experience with the .po files, I will be glad if someone could give me some instructions on how to open them and edit them (if it is possible even to start the translation from the beginning, either the 1.4 UI or the 1.5 UI). Thank you very much, Ran Rutenberg
