Dear LyX-documentation developers,
after JMarc's last change that now every language has its own folder in LyX's
SVN repository:
http://www.lyx.org/trac/browser/lyx-devel/trunk/lib/doc/
I rearranged the clipart folder in the following way to fullfill the new scheme:
- the clipart folder under /lib was moved to /lib/doc
- this clipart folder now only contains the language independent and English
images
- now every language has it's own clipart folder for language-specific images
like screenshots
(this currently only affects Spanish)
All changes only affects LyX's SVN trunk (LyX 1.5)!
I updated all image paths according to the new image locations so you don't have to do anything. (I
compiled all userguides as test.)
To be up to date again, the best is to download the LyX-files from SVN to have a working base with
the actual paths.
Now you have the following situation:
- When you want to insert e.g. one of LyX's button images, like
"tabular-insert.xpm", it's image path is
"../../images/tabular-insert.xpm"
(before JMarc's change it was "../images/tabular-insert.xpm")
- When you want to insert e.g. a language independent image, like the
"platypus.eps", it's image path is
"../clipart/platypus.eps"
(before JMarc's change it was "platypus.eps", after JMarc's change it was
"../platypus.eps")
- When you want to insert a screenshot, for example when you are translating the EmbeddedObjects
manual, the image path is
"clipart/YourImage.xxx"
I hope that we have now a clear documentation structure and a better overview.
