Hi,

I decided to try LyX out after using LaTeX for a couple of years. I began with going through different tutorials and guides and found an error in The LyX User's Guide coming with LyX version 1.5.1. The Guide claims that inside a macro definition, a reference to a macro variable 1 is created by typing either "#1" or "math-macro-arg 1", but neither seems to work. The former ends up in output file as just "#1", and the latter (minibuffer command, I presume) is not recognised at all.

Experimentally I found that typing "\#1" produces the reference.
