I just started using Lyx on windows xp. Section 4.4 was a bit confusing.
1. there is no Insert -> Math -> Math panel 2. it is not clear that "math panels" and "math" are 2 different toolbars. I only had "math panels" open from following the tutorial, it took me awhile to realize there was a "math" toolbar.
