This means that your LaTeX distribution has problems with the index
processor. The LyX documentation uses the program makeindex because this
works on every platform. Some LaTeX distributions try to force using the
program xindy which can cause the problem you have. What is your OS and
what your LaTeX distribution?
Daher vermute ich
einen Fehler im Programmiercode des aktuellen Handbuchs. Leider sehe ich
mich jedoch momentan außer Stande, diesen Fehler zu beheben, da ich
dafür zunächst das Handbuch lesen müsste und mir ein Blick in den
Quellcode ad hoc auch nicht geholfen hat….
