Hi,
I have a problem installing lyx-0.12.0. when I do ./configure, I get
the error message,
'...,
checking for a working C++ compiler... configure: error: Unable to find
a working C++ compiler'.
The config.log file has the following lines,
'configure:777: checking for a working C++ compiler
configure:811: gcc -o conftest conftest.C 1>&5
gcc: installation problem, cannot exec `cc1plus': No such file or
directory
configure: failed program was:
#line 807 "configure"
#include "confdefs.h"
class foo { int bar; }; main(){return(0);}
configure:811: -o conftest conftest.C 1>&5
./configure: -o: command not found'
I tried configure with the --with-broken-const and --with-gcc-hack
options but it makes no difference.
I have gcc,g++ (v2.7) installed. Could you tell me what the problem is?
