I use xfig in combination with a Makefile to extract all these funny
.pstex and .pstex_t files from the .fig.
It would actually prefer to have some 'native xfig support' within LyX,
i.e. the .fig file somehow integrated in the .lyx. On click on a figure
an xfig could be spawned to allow editing the figure. Would be really
nice ;-)
