Well, I can't tell for sure since I only have an US keyboard in front
of me but, from what I understand, if you have a keyboard with an ö
key (not using deadkeys, a real ö key), it should work. In fact, this
change was done by Leonid to allow russian text. A correct support
should work with dead keys and compose key, but this will almost
certainly not happen now, unless somebody provides the code.
