Greetings to the list.

I'm attempting to compile and install the fix3 level of LyX-1.1.4 and this is
the result.

Configuration of LyX was successful.
Type 'make' to compile the program,
and then 'make install' to install it.

Configuration:
  Source code location:       .
  C++ Compiler:                   g++
  C++ Compiler flags:             -g -O2 -fno-rtti -fno-exceptions
  C   Compiler:                   gcc
  C   Compiler flags:             -g -O2
  LyX binary dir:             /usr/X11R6/bin
  LyX files dir:              /usr/X11R6/share/lyx
  Special flags:               included-string

Configuration of LyX was successful.
Type 'make' to compile the program,
and then 'make install' to install it.
chris@berty:~/lyx-1.1.4 > make
cd . && automake --foreign --include-deps Makefile
aclocal.m4: 1630: `AM_PROG_INSTALL' is obsolete; use `AC_PROG_INSTALL'
make: *** [Makefile.in] Error 1

Changing line 1630 in aclocal.m4 as directed allows the make to go.

Is it a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

This is on SuSE-6.3.
