Hi Andre & Jan,
The Problem is that the whole structure of menues etc. changed, so the
translation had to be updated a lot.
This is done by now and submitted for the upcoming 1.1.6. If you want
to check it out immediately, get the locale file:
ftp://hst33127.phys.uu.nl/pub/LyX/lyx.mo_1.1.6pre3.gz
gunzip it and copy it as lyx.mo to the propper location, e.g.
/usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/lyx.mo
(this is for SuSE, if you use another distribution, do a
locate lyx.mo | grep de
to find out where to put it.
