Installing 1.1.6

Hi,

Something I want to share...
I have upgraded to 1.1.6 by using the rpms available at the ftpside. But
then the shortcut in the KDE menu has disappeared and I was able to run lyx
only from a terminal. Then, I tried to make a shortcut for it on my own and
I did that. But then, I lost the icon for staroffice.

Then I used the rpm for xforms and I compiled the LyX and installed it from
the archive...

I wondered if anyone else had the same problem or it was just me being
clumsy :-)
