I would find it a massive help when writing larger documents if some of the
more important items had labels automatically added (eg section headings,
figures, tables etc).  I am constantly adding labels which invariably have the
text (eg)
section: the section name &
table: whatever I called the table

Which seems to lend itself extremely well to automation...

It would be fantastic (for me at least) if these could appear automatically in
the cross reference list.  Any way of doing this, or would it be a useful new
feature?
