I'm really sorry to ask a question about this, since I saw many messages
in the archive, but I couldn't find the answer to my problem.
I have a foo.cls file that I must use for a paper submission. I put it
in /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/misc directory and I ran texhash.
It works fine (I can type a latex document with \documentclass{foo})
I copied /usr/local/share/lyx/layouts/article.layout to
~/.lyx/layouts/foo.layout, as told in the "customization" doc. I changed
the first two lines into :
#% Do not delete the line below; configure depends on this
# \DeclareLaTeXClass{FOOsubmission}
I select "edit/reconfigure" (lyx 1.6fix1) and I restart lyx. No
"FOOsubmission" class in "layout/document".
I saw that the /usr/local/share/lyx/configure file is 644. Is it ok ?
What can I do ?
