You can do this by right-clicking on the table or a special cell. Then
select in the context menu More -> Settings. Here you can specify any
angle in degrees (also negative) to rotate the current cell or the
whole table.

When you select a table an push both buttons, the table ends with the
text rotated 180 degree: upside down.
I cannot reproduce this. This only appears if your table consist of only
one cell.
