Try as I might I am unable to avoid the "! Package pdftex.def Error: File not found" message when trying to view (pdflatex) a LyX file containing an SVG graphic (created in Inkscape). I've tried to research this issue and tried various solutions with no change in the result. My workaround is to convert the SVG into PDF format externally and use that in the LyX document. Here is the LaTeX log entry containing the error: ----- LaTeX Warning: File `1_Users_ed_Documents_Home_to_work_150731_drawing-1_copy.pdf' not found on input line 28. ! Package pdftex.def Error: File `1_Users_ed_Documents_Home_to_work_150731_drawing-1_copy.pdf' not found. See the pdftex.def package documentation for explanation.
