where to do that) the keys were shown by an underlined character,

n(underlined)ote resulted in note, if n was used. I checked the

If you mean that the underlines are no longer shown in your menu, that
might depend on your Qt theme. Here, I have to press Alt (when the menu
is visible) in order to see the underlinings.

trick and how is it called? It is very helpful.
