Thanks Doc, Lyx is working just fine now, and for years last past, so I will follow your suggestion and leave well enough alone. I am not a "cutting edge" guy. I am more a "prehistoric sledgehammer" kind of guy. I don't even have a cell phone, preferring to use twinkle as a sip phone on my laptop.
