Thanks for the pointer. The solution I found (on a StackExchange
thread) is
to enclose that one paragraph in between \begin{sloppypar} ...
\end{sloppypar}. Result attached.
For URLs you also can use
\usepackage{xurl}
in the preamble, then the URL can be broken at every charcter.
