Since I made this inadvertent mistake only once since LyX-1.0, and the
trackball will fix any future accidents I don't care about the keyboard
shortcuts. Chasing this down isn't worth the time for me.

Actually, I wasn't concerned for you in particular but wondered whether
there might be a general problem that may affect others as well. But
anyway since no one else has reported similar problems, it's probably
just a local issue on your side. So, no need to follow up on it.
