Hi, Jürgen,
This is in response to your statement in a previous thread (not mine): "But you
can write a module and use the color definition syntax used in
the latexcolors file (shipped with LyX) to support these. We could even include
this to the distribution."
I have tried this, but LyX does not seem to like the Color command in modules.
I have added new colors directly to latexcolors and used a module to add
\usepackage{latexcolors} to the preamble and that works like a charm. But
changing a system file is obviously not the preferred method. I'd like this
functionality because I have been using the colors on latexcolor.com for years
and this will support those old files. I never knew there was a latexcolors
package on CTAN and wrote my own .sty using the commands available on that
website. I've also written my share of modules, layouts, etc. for LyX, so that
is not new to me, but I cannot seem to get this to work. LyX has a problem
reading the file as soon as I include the Color segment. I did not use
ColorModel because that is xcolor-specific and latexcolors.sty doesn't require
any of that. Using syntax that works in latexcolors does not work in a module
and I am hoping you have an idea as to what if anything I may be doing wrong.
Thank you!
