Hi,

I've already spoke about this question before, that is, the use of
LinuxDoc in Lyx.

The question is that LinuxDoc is so simplier to use than DocBook (by hand)
that this format has been chosen for editing documentation, but me and
some other would like to use Lyx.

So my question is simple: is the support for LinuxDoc dropped on Lyx ?
- Will you fix bugs ?
- Will you accept patches if we make some ?
- Will even the next releases of Lyx has a LinuxDoc mode ?

Thanks for your attention,

        Yannick

PS: I have a few other questions, that I asked myself about the way Lyx
does this things (when fixing a few stuff in DocBook I went to the Lyx
code):

I found that the DTD was somehow hardwired in C++ code. I dont know much
about sgml, but couldnt it be done more easily by a generic sgml/xml
engine that could parse the LinuxDoc/DocBook DTD and match it against Lyx
format ? BTW, this could be even easier if Lyx format was an sgml of some
sort ?
