Another question:
I can't figure out how to use the meta key in the same X server (see
previous message for full details). I tried the docs, but couldn't figure
out what to do.
I don't want to mess up lyx's mapping too much because I need to work on
the same copy of lyx on the same computer from the PC itself (or is there
a command-line option to set a different keymap? But this sounds like a
bad way)
Currently I use in that terminal a 104-keyboard. from xev:
right alt:

Why doesn't lyx treat this as alt? With the PC "alt" works fine from the
PC.
(I know about F9, but it doesn't work well in math mode)
