Only the UNIX version is GPL-ed. For windows there's a binary only "non-commercial" version of Qt 2.x.
There is also the 30-days evaluation version of Qt 3.x, what if a user
gets the LyX-sources during this evaluation period, compiles it's own
binary, can he then use it past that period? Is the binary dynamically
or statically linked against this evaluation version, what whould happen
to the LyX executable after expiration of the Qt library? Can any of you
experienced guys imagine that, and explain if there is hope for such a
native Windows LyX?
