Hello,well i guess that's my question. where do i put these files? i've put em all over the place, and yes i run texhash and i reconfigure and then restart lyx. where do i put them so that lyx recongnises them so i can choose it as a style?

which directory did you copy these files too?
Did you run a "texhash" (root) and reconfigure in LyX afterwards?
