Until I install a few fonts -- including Baker Signet which we use as a
logotype for the company name -- I want to have an epsi figure at the top of
the page as the letterhead.

When I insert a float, then the figure, I get error messages when trying
to view the letter. Apparently, TeX doesn't like having a figure at the top
of a letter document. Is there a solution for this?

On a different topic, is there a way to underline text in a document --
and have the underlines be at the same vertical position regardless of
whether or not there are decender letters in the word?

TIA,

Rich
