and LyX, whilst we appear to claim is is GPL software, isn't. There is a huge gaping hole in its licence specifically allowing it to be linked against non-free libraries. That licence was written by Matthias Ettrich himself. Whether you like it or not, its apparently the case as our one-time resident lawyer made very clear. Search the archives. -- Angus
