Hi

If you look at the FAQ pages at the wiki site, e.g.

        http://wiki.lyx.org/pmwiki.php/FAQ/Unsorted

you'll notice that most of the questions now have a '@' appearing
before it. Further investigation would reveal that the '@' is a link
that points to itself. Since this might seem strange, I thought I'd
explain why.

Imagine that someone (e.g. on this list) asks a question already answerred
on a FAQ-page. You are now feeling helpful (and perhaps lazy/efficient)
so you would like to post a link to that question. This is where the
'@'-links enter the stage: Just copy the URI that the '@'-link points to
(i.e. itself) and post that link.

This is explained in the Site FAQ:
        http://wiki.lyx.org/pmwiki.php/Site/FAQ#selfLinks

PS. If someone understood this and can come up with a better explanation,
I'd be very grateful :-)
