What's wrong with it ? It reads perfectly here (plain TeXLive 8 on Solaris with local tuning for frenchb: edited version of frenchb.cfg in .../texmf-local/tex/generic/babel/). As the image file is 6 ko large, I send it to you privately. BTW, my latex install is a -- Jean-Pierre
