So did I... > Q: Is it possible to make a .bind file for keyboard switching between > open documents/buffers? > > * Either, binding > "C-M-Left" to "next buffer" and > "C-M-Right" to "previous buffer". Not that I know of. You could file a feature request for next-buffer and previous-buffer commands at the lyx bugzilla. > * Or, an alternative, binding > "C-M-1" to "buffer nr 1" and > "C-M-2" to "buffer nr 2" and > "C-M-3" to "buffer nr 3" etc. There is the (not really fast) variant of "M-k 1" ... "M-k N" for buffer number 1 ... N available out of the box. As this is not really fast, one could try to get the "C-M-1" etc bound to push the needed key sequence back to LyX. I know this is possible with the lyxserver, but I hope there is an easier way too (maybe command-sequence; <something> <next thing>). Günter -- G.Milde web.de
