Thanks for the lists of programs. I've now built in support for the 
following editors:

jEdit, PSPad, WinShell, ConTEXT, Crimson Editor, Vim, TeXnicCenter, 
LaTeXEditor, WinEdt, LEd, WinTeX, (notepad)

If no editor is found notepad will be used as viewer for LaTeX.
