inserting image

Hi,

"finally" when I select English in the format of the document, I still can 
type in French language including the French accentuations, display the text 
in pdf (pdflatex) and insert images without problem.

Shall i understand that language=French is just a matter of dictionnary ? or 
is there other inconveniences ? otherwise it is not a problem for me to 
adjust language to use one or the other dictionnary (French or English or 
other ...)
