make an enumerate list.
make a forced line break in the list.
when moving the cursor towards the linebreak, the curser goes to  
the next
line 1 char before the end of the line.

Not reproducible for me: As expected, the cursor goes to the  
beginning of the next line...

Not reproducible for me on Mac OSX, LyX 1.4.2. Could you give details  
on your configuration?
