I guess that you used the installer of Uwe Stöhr for 1.4.1 and 1.4.2, and now the I official installer built by Joost Verburg. If that is the case then Uwe had some modified .ui files in his installer. You can use them with 1.4.3, too. Probably somebody should check the differences in Uwe's installer to the official LyX sources and feed them back. Georg
