Richard, I realized that not only had I eliminated the paragraph breaks, but I needed to explicitly \setlength\textwidth{} and \setlength\textheight{}. That fixed the problem. Now I have a new issue that I've not seen before. Perhaps you or someone else has an explanation and a solution. When I run dvips on the TeX-generated .dvi file it's immediately sent to lpr rather than generating a .ps file. Never did that before! Where do I change the default output to a file rather than piping it to lpr? The -f switch writes it to stdout, but I've not needed that option before. Thanks, Rich -- Richard B.
