Good idea.

I got powerdot-example.lyx from the zip version v1.3
and installed it in /usr/share/lyx/templates
after texhash (local and as superuser) and configure new
this powerdot-example.lyx
gives:
Package xkeyval error 'method' undefined in families glslide, slide
and more errors probably related to that.

apt-cache search xkeyval
says
texlive-latex-recommended - TeX Live:Latex recommended packages.

does that mean I have to get and install the package xkeyval via apt-get in my
Debian distribution?

Thanks for your help, Les, and if you could give me a further advice

Yours,

Wolfgang
