They are, but they are also old. I set up my TeXlive 2007 from a DVD
downloaded from TeXlive. This seems to work quite well with Kile, but
I'm not installing LyX until Version 1.5 is available. Even installing
Kile landed me with TeTeX, without the option (sigh).
