Hi,

I'm using a freshly-compiled lyx 1.5.0rc2 on Ubuntu 7.04. When I launch lyx
from a terminal, the message "Locale en_CA could not be set" is printed. This
may or may not be relevant to the problem I'm having. When I type some text in
lyx and try to view the output as dvi, ps, or pdf, I get an error window that
says:

"Font T1/cmr/m/n/10.95=ecm1095 at 10.95pt not loadable: Metric (TFM) file not"

If I click on the error message, more diagnostic output is printed to the lower
half of the dialog box:

" \fontencoding\encodingdefault\selectfont

I wasn't able to read the size data for this font,
so I will ignore the font specification.
[Wizards can fix TFM files using TFtoPL/PLtoTF.]
You might try inserting a different font spec;
e.g., type `I\font<same font id>=<substitute font name>'."

How do I go about implementing these suggestions?

Thanks,

~ Eric.
