I´m using Lyx 1.5.0 rc2 under Windows XP. Because my main document is
so large I divided it to 11 subdocuments, which are connected to the
to the mainfile via the command input/include.
If I try to open the subdocuments via the main document a Lyx crash
happens.
Do you mean when you click on the [load] button of the "Include" dialog?
Yes, that´s the problem.
The only way to open the subdocuments is to produce a PDF-File.
Opening the cross-reference dialog is also a good trick to open all your
subdocuments, and it is faster. There's already a feature request for
creating a menu item to do that.
During this process Lyx opens all subdocuments without crashing.
