How to save the personal word list (spellcheck)

I used spell check in Lyx 1.4.4.
During the check, I can add new word and they are known during the spell
check run.
But, but after finishing the added new word are not saved in the defined
file (under tools-settings-spell check-personal word list).
How can I save the added words, so that they are know at the next spell
check ?
