Hi, I installed LyX-154-3-22-AltInstaller-Complete.exe package. Everything seems to go fine, the MiKTeX is updated etc. However, LyX doesn't start, but opens a following window:
lyx.exe - Application Error The application failed to initialize properly (0x0150002). Click on OK to terminate the application. I have installed and uninstalled the the whole package now for a couple of times, albeit no success. Restarting the XP didn't help either. During the installation I have accepted proposed (default) setting for LyX, MikTeX, Jabber, etc. One note still... The ImageMagick seems to be absent from the package, or at least I am not able to find it in the Start-menu. Could someone please help me and tell how to proceed? Should I switch to 1.5.3?
