I believe he meant: "I have some comments regarding the LyX tutorial.
I do not want to join a mailing list. I do not want my comments posted
to a mailing list. I am not interested in replies to my comments.
However, the only address I have to which I might send my feedback is
a mailing list, so that is where I will send it. Alas, I am not
particularly good at composing clear email messages."
