Native support is planned, but it will most likely not make it into 1.6. Biblatex is such a mighty package that sensible support requires some major changes in LyX's general bibliography handling. However, with the workarounds described in the Wiki, it is possible to use biblatex in LyX without too much hassle. Jürgen
