Could you also provide a debug output? Close LyX, open Terminal, enter: /Applications/LyX.app/Contents/MacOS/lyx -dbg any &> ~/lyxdbg.txt and send lyxdbg.txt to me and Bennett (since it is too large for the list).(You might need to change the path to LyX.app to the one that crashes for you.)
