The list is the right one. When the installer says that MiKTeX could be found, but no latex.exe can be found, there is a problem with your MiKTeX installation. What is the path of your MiKTeX installation, what the path to the latex.exe? CAn it be that you have two latex.exe files on your PC? When you reinstall LyX using the small version of the installer, you can specify the path to the latex.exe manually, so at least this should work.
Looking forward to the final official distribution.
Both installers install LyX, your problem is independent of the installer you are using to install LyX - its a problem with your MiKTeX installation.
