Hello. In my book, I want to put a preface after the TOC and before chapter 1. But I can't work out how to eliminate the text 'Contents' that appears not only on the TOC pages (where I want it) but also in the header of the preface, where I decidedly don't. I've experimented with Book, Memoir and KOMA classes and the problem is common.
By the way, is there any place where a newby can see screenshots of the various doc classes (particularly ones for books) so that I can choose which suits me best? TIA Richard
