Really? This should only be visible for a few milliseconds. Only at the first start after an installation the console Windows is shown to indicate the current installation status of LaTeX-packages.

In general, I think the standalone installer is more "clean". This is why I
prefer it. :-)

They do basically the same (also the hiding of the console window), the
