No hay un formato estándard en LyX/Latex para hacer tesis doctorales. Hay muchos para hacer libros, de los que puedes usar algún estilo. Sin embargo, hay mucha gente que lo ha hecho y ha definido los estándares que les han sido requeridos por sus respectivas universidades.
