I have a 12 Chapters book. Every chapter is in a separate file and I am using
"book" as the document style. In the Document Settings/Page Layout and /Page

formatting for margins and page size.

That custom formatting is only respected in the first included document and then it
reverts to the default formatting for "book". What am I doing wrong? How to
correct it? This is on a MAC OS X 10.7.2 and I am using LYX 2.0.1. Thanks!

Does this happen when you export the entire thing, or when you view the chapters individually? If the latter, then this is expected. LyX does not pick up the customization from the master document when you view the chapters individually.

If the former, then it is more of a mystery. I'd have a look at the LaTeX source, under View>Source, and see if anything looks funny.
